" READY FOR THE RAIDERS "

So here we are Wednsday , 3 and a half days until game time , And yes I am already excited ! My negativity is almost gone for this week and hopefully for all of next week ! In all honesty I really think the Texans will fix some defensive tackling problems this week and handle the Raiders running game. Darren Mcfadden is only averaging 3.6 yards per carry and has only one touchdown. I hope the Texans don't put to much of the focus on Mcfadden and forget about Micheal Bush who is averaging a decent 4.1 yards per carry. I really hope they do not let another big quarterback run all over the field for first downs like Garrard did .

TEXANS OFFENSE NEEDS TO PLAY BIG

I was impressed with Matt Schaub last week completing 26/35 passes for 300 yards 3 td's and only one interception . If he can keep that up and shoot for some big plays down field to A.J. it should no doubt open up the run game early for Slaton to get going. Kevin Walter also showed up big with 7 catches and needs to build on that this week, But Schaub has to be careful where he lets the ball fly with former UT product Micheal Huff roaming around with a team leading 3 interceptions. Also he needs to get rid of it quick with Richard Seymour already recording 2 sacks on the season . If Jacoby Jones can give us some good field position on kickoffs and punts It will make everything alot easier ! So come on guys lets win this one for our rookie defensive coordinator and get him off the hook, before it's to late !

The "Other" Texans Show Up ! lose 31-24

Welcome everyone to my new Texans blog ! Well I just couldn't keep it in any more , the dissapointment and embaressment the Houston Texans have shown to all of their faithful fans over the past eight years has taken a huge toll on all of us ! Aside from my newly formed high blood preesure and chronic migranes the Texans have almost taken away my spirit . How many running backs are going to have 150 yard plus games against the Texans defense this year before something is actually done to fix this CRAP !! I mean even David Garrard was all over the field on them !! Not to mention our running game , What happened to Steve Slaton ? Where is he ? Why even try to run the freakin ball three sraight times when you now the result is a 2 yard gain at the most ! The fact of the matter is even if Brown doesnt fumble at the 1 we either give up a game winng drive in the final 2 minutes or lose on a field goal in overtime. The good thing is that we were actually in the game and were able to stay interseted all the way to the end , The bad part is after the game all my buddies and I had to go to Chucky Cheese for one of their kids birthday parties and we all had our Texans jerseys on. Well since this is my first blog I will keep it short and simple , So until next week when we play the Raiders and are again picked to "win" I will try to be positive and not make any bad predictions for next game.
